CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
The purpose of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is to promote the conservation of the underground water aquifer within the District by providing assistance for the cost of diverting and using available surface water. The District currently delivers approximately 40,000 acre feet of surface water.
Eligible landowners apply for approval of a project that uses surface water on acreage previously irrigated with groundwater. Successful applicants will receive a reduction in the cost of surface water for up to 10 years.
